North Haven Youth Basketball (NHYB)  - Welcome to the 2018-2019 season!

North Haven Youth Basketball is excited to offer both In-Town & Travel basketball programs to all North Haven Boys and Girls grades 1-8 for the 2018-2019 season.

The In-Town teams will be divided into 1st and 2nd graders, 3rd and 4th graders, 5th and 6th graders and 7th and 8th graders. Note: Grades 1-2 will be an instructional based league with games. In-Town playoffs will be held for grades 3-8.

The travel program (which is grade-based) will hold tryouts in the first week of October. There will be travel teams for both the girls and boys grades 4-8 divisions.

Travel teams will be based on enrollment and approval by the NHYB Board.

The travel teams will participate in the Milford Knights Travel League as well as play other area travel teams. If you try-out and make the travel team, there will be one additional practice during the week and one additional game on the weekend. There may also be the opportunity to participate in post season tournaments.

***** All travel team players must have an active role in our In-Town program*****

  • Rec League Fee: $150; Travel Team Fee: TBD
  • Discount for more than 1 child on the Rec fee only
  • Late Registration Fee: $20 and late registrations will be placed on a waiting list; no guarantee that the child will eventually be placed on a team (see Frequently Asked questions for additional information).
  • Fees MUST be paid PRIOR to team selection night (draft) or the child will go on the waiting list which again, does not guarantee that they will be eventually placed on a team
  • If a balance is owed for 2017-2018 season when registration opens, your player will not go into the draft/placed on a team until prior and current registrations are paid in full.
